Still continuing on the idea of being wholehearted, I have decided to change my WordPress site name to a loose translation from which my Chinese name is derived – 本心如所從來 : “the heart as it initially comes”. My name is the 2nd and 3rd characters – “心如”. My father gave me this name when I was 5 (I had my English name first), not knowing I would be an enneagram 4. This is a more full explanation he gave me of where my name came from:
This translation is still very fitting to the intention of this online journal, plus it is shorter and easier to spell out. I have also updated my logo to include my Chinese name in calligraphy as well! That is all for today (:
