Mini honeymoon!

Mini honeymoon!

Hello all ! Moving is still in process and routines are still trying to be established / re-established, but I have some moments to at least share photos from Jacob’s and my mini honeymoon, or minimoon ! When our photographer has some sneak peeks from the ceremony, I will post those on here too !

A while ago, I came across this Instagram account called @sonorasbirdnest. It’s this really interesting house in the middle of nature that people can also book as an Airbnb ! So we went there for two nights:

Indoor areas of the Airbnb:

Breakfast & Kitchen area:

An accidental photo I took but I thought still looked cool:

We only really had one full day in the area, Monday April 15. So we decided to head over to Columbia State Park, where a lot of really old buildings have still been preserved:

My favorite part of one of the buildings/shops preserved was an old Chinese medicine shop ! :

Some nature areas around the park:

After visiting the park, we then decided to visit Sonora downtown. Most of the shops had already closed by late afternoon/early evening unfortunately (unless they also served food), so I got some photos of the area in general:

And that’s pretty much it ! We are still in the process of organizing things from moving in together, but once our place looks a lot nicer, I would like to share photos of our apartment, too !

Here are some random photos from the weekend from my phone:

The few photos I got during the very adorable bridal shower organized for me ! It was in a tea shop in Modesto that was very cute and quaint. I tried clotted cream for the first time with their home-made scones, and it was very delicious !:

And finally, Jacob’s and my last meal together as non-married people :
