Just as the month of April is about to end, and another spring month begins, these are the days of…
…bringing JJ to work to not only reduce my stress, but that of my colleagues’ as well. Here are some sillier photos of him:

… breaking my pescatarianism after six years ! For the time being, I am only eating humanely raised meat. I have thought about reincorporating meat into my diet for a couple of years now, but I finally have done it after getting married. I first became pescatarian due to health reasons, and so because of that, I’m still going to be careful and picky about the meat I ate, mainly eating the meat at home because (1) I know where I’m buying it from and (2) I know how I am cooking/preparing it. I also already don’t like the texture of some meats, so that takes some meat out of the picture. In any case, here is a sandwich I was preparing with turkey sandwich meat that cost $1 a slice. I have avocado as the spread and also some cheese, salt, and pepper (aside from the bread):

… noticing the small ways Jacob shows his love for me. I often have to rush out of the house right after waking up because I don’t get enough sleep, so a couple of times already, he’s prepared some eggs for me to take to work. We also have an ugly cockroach issue, and so while I was in class (virtually), he spent time caulking up the gaps between the wall and the floor:

… Attending my church’s youth retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains. Here is a mix of our lodging, the theme of the weekend, the camp Tshirt, food, and some outdoor recreational areas. I have better photos on my DSLR, but those will probably be in another post :

Going to another tea party hosted by a friend ! The party also had these tea-bag shaped cookies :

.. and finally doing neighborhood walk photography:
