Today’s prompt from Onsite is “Who is the person in your life you feel most intimate with? How much of the real you do they know?”

Oh this is an easy answer ! It is obviously my husband Jacob. Not only do we spend a lot of time together, but he knows well of my past, the work I’ve had to do, sees me in my worst but also my best and believes in me. I’m confident he knows a lot of the real me, and I think it will take a lifetime for both of us to get to know the real ‘version’ of the other. As with any married couple (and also like very newly married couple), there’s definitely parts of ourselves that are difficult and/or challenging for the other person to try and understand, but I know we are committed in this journey together.
