O’ahu Day 1

O’ahu Day 1

Hi friends – Jacob and I are in O’ahu for a delayed honeymoon. It is his first time here and my second time here (I went as a child but don’t remember much).

Firstly, our flight was delayed a couple of times, but it was not the worst delay ever. The plane was supposed to leave a little before 11 am but we left closer to 12:30. That allowed us to arrive in Hawaii a little before 3pm, Hawaii time.

We got our luggage, rental car, and headed to our hotel which was not too far from the airport. We rested for a bit because we were both very tired and then we walked around a little shopping strip before eating dinner. Here are all the photos from the day:

Arriving in O’ahu:

Our hotel giving us complimentary pineapple juice upon arrival:

This was cool to see around the city:

Our dinner (I got Cajun fish tacos and Jacob got Korean Street tacos):

There are these “ABC stores” literally around every block in Waikiki with some really cool food ! It’s not pictures here, but we tried out some Ube and Mango donut hole things after dinner:

First time seeing a banyan tree:

And my DSLR photos of the day – hoping to take more during our 2nd day !:
