These are the days of…
Getting Halloween treats in class because we had class on Halloween (I didn’t eat any though for health reasons but I really would have loved to!):

Accidentally buying white sweet potato and then being pleasantly surprised by it ! I thought I had bought the usual sweet potato that I grew up eating (the orange one), but as I was peeling it, the flesh underneath the purple skin was white instead. I felt skeptical about eating it, but I boiled it with some miso soup and it was actually quite tasty ! I will pay more attention to the sweet potato I get going forward, but I don’t think I will mind much accidentally purchasing the white ones again:

Going to the annual, epic Halloween party hosted by two sister friends of mine:

One of the sisters went to culinary school and is a really good chef, and she usually makes a whole menu of food that is really delicious !:

Some really cute ghost cheese:

Worms in dirt dessert (I think it was a cake):

They also allow dogs at the party:

One of the sister’s husband likes to bartend ! So this is his spooky little bartending area with a skeleton assistant:

There was also a live band there (friends of the hosts):

Some other spooky decorations:

Going to home depot and running into a whole bunch of Christmas decoration already !:

Being sad about having my last Honolulu cookie that we got from actual Honolulu ( I found out though that there are some stores in the area that sell limited flavors of Honolulu cookies):

JJ playing with a small fruit net (he was okay, just playing):

Taking JJ with me to work again:

Finding out that I can watch free live television through the Tubi app, so I found the food shows, one of which is MasterChef Jr.. In one of the episodes, Gordon Ramsey invited all the children’s’ grandmothers and so he also dressed up as a grandmother and I thought it was so funny (he high-key looks like Mrs. Doubtfire):

Thanks for reading !
