“O God, help us to believe the truth about ourselves, no matter how beautiful it may be”

Getting to know myself – prompt 28

Today’s question from Onsite is “How do you think you can foster desired changes in your community circles?”

One thing I thought of that is immediately in my control is to simply find friends to make nearby ! I love and appreciate the friends that I do have, but they’re quite far, with some living farther than others. There’s things like Realroots gals, Timeleft, Meetups.com, Facebook groups that all give me the chance and opportunity to make friends. Granted, I have not really bothered joining up with those because of my schedule of work and school, but I kind of have those on tabs.

With regards to how I would like other relationships to change, there’s honestly not much I can do as personality-wise and emotional capacity wise, we are too different and I cannot expect people to change in drastic ways as such. I will keep living my life with the boundaries I have set in place and hope that maybe one day, things may change for the better.
