These are the days of…

…finding out that a Scottish folk musician I follow who mainly tours in the UK was touring in the Bay Area with a band and Irish tap dancers ! It was such a last minute purchase to get tickets so I am grateful that Jacob was willing to go with me and we both really enjoyed it ! I even got to talk to that specific musician who recognized me as a guitarist (we chatted briefly on Instagram comments) and even gave us a free copy of one of his EP’s ! It was a really lovely and memorable experience:

…learning more about what women have had to fight for in this country, which was not that long ago. In the venue where we saw the Irish band and tap dancing, there were all these placards about the National League of Women Voters that was fascinating to read. Things that should be common sense about human rights were unfortunately things that were hard fought, and alos not too long ago:

…buying pumpkin pie for me and an apple pie slice for Jacob on Pi Day (3/14, which was also the day we saw the Irish band and tap dancing):

…going to another monthly French meetup at this lovely cafe in downtown Palo Alto:

…visiting a friend from grad school #1 in downtown San Mateo at this really hip coffee shop !:

…finally editing photos from my North Carolina trip ( I only took 4):

…going to Cali Spartan but in their downtown location !:

…taking photos of the lovely Valentine’s bouquet that Jacob gave me:

…visiting a local pizzeria that Jacob and I have not been to before for a date night:

…receiving a French book in the mail that I plan on reading with someone from the French meet up !:
