…taking photos of JJ per usual:

…still dealing with my rash. Although I won’t post photos here.

…finally visiting a lovely Mexican-food-themed restaurant for brunch with Jacob:

…my orchid at work finally dying… it was literally beautiful and vibrant just 3 days before, and then all of a sudden it died with all the flower petals on the counter. I eventually found and killed a moth nearby who was likely the perpetrator:

…having Jacob try to Buca di Beppo for the first time. Unfortunately I had read wrong that there were single-sized portions for the weekends (those are only for weekday lunches). We ordered a pizza but realized that the pizza was quite small… so then we ordered an additional salad (I also had ordered a soup):

…playing this cute simulation game called Tsuk’s Odyssey:

…going hiking with some friends from church in Portola Valley:

…having frequent froyo cravings:

…receiving this inspirational comment from a professor of mine:

…finding this cool message online:

…finally visiting this brunch place in the central valley with Jacob. It was okay:

…finding some street art on a church:

…trying Starbuck’s new horchata-based drink. It tasted like coffee only and there was no horchata taste, unfortunately. At least I tried, and probably this is for the better as if it really tasted like horchata, I could basically have this on demand which would not be good for my bank account !

…watching these 2 films with my mother-in-law – both lovely stories – and realizing that I really like watching love stories. I could tell the ‘Me Before You’ one could easily be adapted into some kind of Asian TV drama:

Thanks for reading !
