Today’s prompt from Onsite is, “Are there qualities you had as a child that you would like to reclaim?”

Oh yes. I was so creative as a child and not afraid to share my works, especially in the realm of music and songwriting, as cringe as I even felt about it. I wish I still had that, because creative work has to start from somewhere. I also really wanted to be involved in positions of leadership and was also very outgoing, embarrassingly so. Those are things I have lost / have been repressed greatly, sadly. Maybe some day I will gain back that positions of leadership desire, but I am also okay with not being so outgoing, as life sort of feels more peaceful with the way I am now (I can be enthusiastic and social when I need to be, and I feel like I have good boundaries surrounding this).
