“O God, help us to believe the truth about ourselves, no matter how beautiful it may be.” Macrina Wiederkehr.

Day 4 – Dublin, Ireland

This was our last full day in Ireland, and we had already turned in our rental car at this point. The main plan for this day was to have afternoon tea and also find a restaurant/pub to eat at with live music. We also managed to stop by a church in the morning and listen to their amazing choir.

I first started off the day by having breakfast and doing some reading at a cafe just a handful of steps away from the church:

The church we decided to visit was Christ Church Dublin and it happened to be Trinity Sunday:

At 3:00 pm, we had afternoon tea at a cute place called the Old Music Shop. It was conveniently located just 8 minutes away from our AirBnB. I really appreciated that they had non-herbal drinks like chamomile, and their cream was really good, too. The food didn’t look filling but it basically ended up being our lunch. I was so glad to finally be able to have afternoon tea in Europe, and it was also a nice chill time for the 3 of us to just hang out and chat:

In the evening, we also wanted to try to find somewhere to eat that had live music. We had a first choice but it was a bit crowded for our taste, and then finally found somewhere that was a bit more chill that had a band but also dancers:

And just a last random photo from the streets of Dublin from the day:
