“O God, help us to believe the truth about ourselves, no matter how beautiful it may be.” Macrina Wiederkehr.

10/28/26 These are the days of…

These are the days of….

taking photos of all the books I have finished recently:

…taking a photo of this book I am currently reading (I found this book literally randomly on a school campus, not knowing that it is about Taiwan):

…as always, getting photos of the floofball:

…making quiche from scratch with Jacob that I ended up not being able to eat too much of because of its heavy dairy content:

…starting this game where you play as a witch running a bakery in Paris. This witch is from an area near this actual train station I actually went to to visit a friend kind of out in the countryside of France:

…attending a Bob Ross paint night:

…filling out my ballot finally and using the I voted sticker that is local to my county. I have yet to drop off my ballot somewhere though:

…attending a division-wide retreat at the building on top of the hill overlooking the ocean at work:

…seeing an onion cut like this for the first time:

…doing ikebana for the first time at this first work retreat:

…taking photos of dew on plants at work:

…spotting a raven at work:

…getting stuck in traffic literally. The highway turned into a parking lot, and everyone was stuck in place for 2 hours:

…accidentally falling into a backrooms-style map of the game I’m playing for their halloween event:

…attending a second, smaller work retreat within my immediate department that was at the cutest farm:

…getting sent a photo of JJ at the vet:

…finally editing photos from when Jacob and I did a hike near my workplace earlier in the month:

…getting the last of my pastries at the local Croissante bakery for the time being (I have tried out so many of their breads already):

…editing photos of when I went to the rose garden with some friends:

Thanks for reading !
