“O God, help us to believe the truth about ourselves, no matter how beautiful it may be.” Macrina Wiederkehr.

7/28/26 These are the days of…

These are the days of…

…being reunited with JJ after our Europe trip:

…getting some Icelandic-style yogurt while back here in the states (although I stopped buying these because even though it’s Icelandic style here, it’s still American milk which my body does not respond as well to):

…hanging out more with JJ:

…stopping by our favorite falafel place (where we don’t order falafel) and the ice cream shop next door:

…joining in on free webinars while still trying to find full-time employment:

…taking my last photos at/around the gym I was a part of (I left it since I am trying to save money):

…visiting a local hiking trail towards sunset:

…hanging out with JJ after he has been groomed:

…finally discovering some out-of-bounds area in the game I’m playing and finding weird things like this floating pink creature and a random plane:

…keeping track of France’s game in the world cup (they did so well overall!):

…walking around a local park during sunset:

…getting JJ a new hat:

…visiting the watch party for the World cup downtown:

…doing more hiking with Jacob and reaching a vista point:

…finally getting my own PO box and writing myself a letter:

…having to bring all of my YETI products to work:

…finally getting some kind of France football team swag, even if it’s not official:

…getting a bento at Orange Square before leaving for the Midwest with fewer Asian food options:

…attending a special event in the game I’m playing and getting to ride on a cute dog:

…finally turning in my application to the BBS as an APCC applicant with a July 9 time stamp:

…having this interesting ramen with my cousin where the broth is separate from the noodles that are chewier than traditional ramen:

…finding these interesting sock products:

…finding giant packages of one of my favorite candies (that I don’t eat much anymore for health reasons):

…the dough I made from scratch for Jacob’s birthday cinnamon rolls rising a lot:

…having some Rita’s ice cream and custard after doing an escape room:

…attending a watch party for the Avatar Aang movie:

…hanging out with JJ and visiting a new coffee shop in the area (but not a new coffee shop to me):

…and trying to make Japanese egg rolls but still struggling even though I have the right kind of pan for it:

It’s been a while since I have been able to make a post like this, so thanks for reading !
